Sometime back in 2005, as I was graduating High School, the world was beginning to fully open up to me as an artist and as a human. My appetite for the visual was becoming insatiable. I had a need to make imagination real and tangible in every way possible. For many years my dream was to become a writer. I've written several books: a science fiction novel, an experimental novel, and several collections of fairy tales. However, before I ever got published, life took me down a different path.

I'm not sure where Painkiller Studios officially began.
Was it when a friend taught me how to make jewelry after I begun college for the first time?
Was it when I made my own clothes back in middle school as a fledgling goth?
Was it when I decided to pursue a career as an visual artist in early high school?

I remember sitting in the library, my last semester of high school, working on one of my books, and thinking: the world's about unfold in front of me. My life is going to become what I make of it. I knew what I loved: anime, street fashion, urban style, alternative art and culture, creepy things, colourful things, beautiful things. And I knew I wanted them in my life.

And step-by-step, it happened. One art show, and photo shoot, and convention at a time. Until, Painkiller Studios was alive and kicking.

In 2010, I let it all wither. I wasn't happy with the direction that things were going. I felt like my efforts were too spread out, when they needed to be concentrated. Plus, I was moving out-of-state alone, for college (again) and I needed to concentrate my energy on my new life.

Now that I'm settled in to life in Nashville, and a life at art school, I've slowly but surely realised the direction I've wanted to go in with Painkiller Studios. And here it is. For you. From me. With love.

My name is Clara, and 
I'm also known by "Jenova" or "Ghost".
I'm always looking for things that thrill me.
My goal in life is to make my life feel like a video game. Or a movie. <3

I'm a Sagittarius, which means three things:
1. I love to travel. I am currently living in both Nashville and Huntsville. I travel between two states every week. I love travelling and seeing new places. That's one of the perks of being an artist/self employed.
2. I am a natural leader. I am usually the leader of every group, and I am happiest in this role.
3. Sagittarians are the "players" of the Zodiac. Although I am happily married to my work and have little time for anything else,  I love meeting new people, and I love making friends.

I believe in Truth, and I believe in Love, Patience, Humbleness, Kindness, Selflessness, giving until it hurts, loving the unlovable, being able to find beauty in what others discard, and not giving glory to anything that would go against love and the truth.
